Several Storms on September 12th and 13th, 2026
Saturday 09/12/2026 - 3:45 pm
Yet again, the Route 68 construction project has resulted in significant water runoff, clogging, and debris being deposited onto my property.
The videos below provide clear evidence of the ongoing and recurring issues.
Prior to the start of this construction project, we never experienced any of these problems.
The excessive runoff, drainage issues, and debris accumulation began only after the project commenced and have continued to occur. This ongoing issue is causing repeated damage and disruption to my property and needs to be addressed, especially before the snow and ice storms.
I am requesting that the appropriate corrective measures be taken to properly control and redirect the water runoff and prevent clogging. This problem should not continue to be allowed to occur with the rain storms.

Another storm has come through, once again causing the same serious and recurring problems. This ongoing issue is extremely concerning and demonstrates that the underlying construction problems need to be addressed.

Summer Storm Damage
August & Sept 2026 - Storm Damage
- VIDEO below showing accumulation of neighbor's run off (dirt, rock, etc)
With the PennDOT Route 68 construction project still on-going, recent rainstorms have resulted in significant water runoff, clogging, and debris being deposited onto my property multiple times.
Dirt and sediment from the construction zone across the street from my neighbor’s property (which is still torn up under construction with no grass) are being carried across Route 68, even with passing vehicles.
The runoff then drains across the highway due to the grading of the new construction site and non-existing berms.
The rain flow follows a direct path towards the only culverts that are on my own personal parking lot, carrying dirt and rock in the water path.
This recurring runoff is causing repeated accumulation of dirt, sediment, and debris on my property and is requiring ongoing cleanup and maintenance after every rainstorm.
Who am I suppose to send my bill to for summertime cleanup, 5 times this summer?
Please advise what corrective action will be taken and whether this issue will be resolved before the upcoming winter season. We are going to have to spend a ton of money on salt to keep the ice away. Who’s going to pay for that?
